I'm taking Valentine's Day to express my heartfelt thanks for you being a member of the kathy ireland Worldwide family. We've poured our hearts and souls into this dream of a company and having you transform it from a fantasy to a business means more than mere words are able to express.

When we began our journey in 1993, the wish was to build a brand that would truly make a difference in the lives of others. In truth, my long-ago modeling career opened my eyes, to the fantasy of fashion and allowed me to contrast the illusion with real needs that we all have every day.

From the day of our launch, with our amazing partners, John and Marilyn Moretz, we learned, we shared, we practiced & gave ourselves over to building kathy ireland Worldwide, literally, from the ground up with a simple pair of socks made out of hemp. Our socks will always be a labor of love. When we sold our 1st pair after months of rejection... it brought even more joy than our 100 millionth pair. None of this could have happened without you. This Valentine's Day, I'm thinking about each of you.

Those of you I know & those of you I've yet to meet. Because we're richly connected in powerful ways. That first pair of socks led to every form of fashion, jewelry, furniture, home, lighting at Lamps Plus, publishing, Christmas films produced by his Royal Highness, Prince Edward and our President and CMO, Stephen Roseberry. From sleeping in airports to premieres of our films at the White House. From having doors slammed in our faces to Neiman Marcus deciding to carry our Kathleen Marie New York Designs by Nourison. From furniture with icon, Michael Amini​ to RTA Office Furniture by Bestar Bush, American Family Insurance. The kathy ireland brand is a reality because of each one of you. Yes my loves... You are each in your own special way, my Valentines and I will always be yours. Some of us are brothers and sisters, others are colleagues and I've got nothing but love for you and yes, that includes the haters. My one lifetime romantic Valentine is my beloved husband, Gregory. Darling, without our love and our beliefs, cannot imagine what life would be.
